Mission Statement:

To advance the sport of dressage in Alberta by educating, inspiring and supporting young riders and their equine partners.

Vision Statement:

A thriving community of young riders built on a culture of excellence in riding, horsemanship and sportsmanship that forms the foundation for the sport of dressage in Alberta.

Values:

Community:

We foster a sense of community among our riders, their families, their coaches and the larger dressage community.

Sportsmanship:

We promote good sportsmanship among our entire community.

Partnership:

We recognize and value all equine partners.

Excellence:

We uphold the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of our organization, the sport of dressage, our interactions with others, and the care of our equine partners.

Lifelong Learning:

We believe in the importance of ongoing learning and growth for all members of our community.

 About Us:

We aim to be a leading organization in the dressage community, recognized for our dedication to inspiring and educating young riders (ages 6 to 25) from all disciplines and their equine partners in the discipline of dressage.

We believe that the partnership between horse and rider can be a unique and rewarding journey, and we are dedicated to helping our members develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to achieve their highest potential, both in and out of the saddle.

We strive to provide exceptional development opportunities that instill a deep love and appreciation for dressage while promoting outstanding sportsmanship and a high standard of horse care. In doing so, we hope to create a culture of learning and collaboration that encourages our members to explore new horizons, challenge themselves, and celebrate their successes - from enhancing the connection between horse and rider to competing at the North American Youth Championships.

Ultimately, we strive to instill a lifelong passion for dressage in Alberta’s young riders, and to establish the foundation for a safe, supportive, inclusive community of dedicated, skilled and compassionate dressage participants.
