New Executive Members Appointed to ADA...
Congratulations to Carina Forsstrom and Leslie Dowler on their new appointments with the Alberta Dressage Association. Carina has taken on the position of Vice President and will continue as the ADA representative to the Alberta Equestrian Federation. Leslie Dowler will be the new Treasurer for the ADA. A complete listing of the Executive and Directors of the Alberta Dressage Association can be found at the bottom of this page.

Members note...
All members of the ADA can now place classifieds, news, shows, events and more on the ADA website - themselves! Be sure to contact your area membership coordinator to find out your login name and password to access the members area of the website!
Area group executive and webmasters can now login to the local area administration area to update their own pages and membership list as well as accessing all of the members area.

Who we are.....
The Alberta Dressage Association (ADA) is a provincial organization whose purpose is to promote dressage in Alberta. The association has been in existence since 1978 and consists of a volunteer executive that meets throughout the year both online and off.
The main responsibilities of the ADA include acting as a liaison with the Alberta Equestrian Federation, approving provincial show dates so that there are minimal conflicts and overseeing the six branch societies which comprise the ADA:
- Calgary Area / Alberta Dressage Association
- Chinook Country / Alberta Dressage Association
- Edmonton Area / Alberta Dressage Association
- Cold Lake / Alberta Dressage Association
- Parkland Area / Alberta Dressage Association
- Alberta Junior Young Riders Dressage Association
The ADA also coordinate volunteers for casino fundraising, distributes funding to the area groups and completes the financial responsibilities of casino reporting.
