Who we are.....
The Alberta Dressage Association (ADA) is a provincial organization whose purpose is to promote dressage in Alberta. The association has been in existence since 1978 and consists of a volunteer executive that meets throughout the year both online and off.

The main responsibilities of the ADA include acting as a liaison with the Alberta Equestrian Federation, approving provincial show dates so that there are minimal conflicts and overseeing the six branch societies which comprise the ADA:

  • Calgary Area / Alberta Dressage Association
  • Chinook Country / Alberta Dressage Association
  • Edmonton Area / Alberta Dressage Association
  • Cold Lake / Alberta Dressage Association
  • Parkland Area / Alberta Dressage Association
  • Alberta Junior Young Riders Dressage Association

The ADA also coordinates volunteers for casino fundraising, distributes funding to the area groups and completes the financial responsibilities of casino reporting.

The ADA is a member in good standing with the Alberta Equestrian Federation.
